13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

There is a new release in Hong Kong called 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.  This is not a movie that you want to bring your date to, this is totally a guy movie.  With all the great war movies Blackhwak Down, Act of Volar, Lone Survivor and American Sniper, 13 Hours can certainly be ranked among these great war films, there aren’t any that tells the story from the PMC’s (private military contractors) view.

13 Hours - 3

There are many fire scenes that are quite intense, if you are like me, you will notice the gears they use, which are quite different and not often seen in movies but in the annual shot shows in Las Vegas as their firearms aren’t military issue, but with custom modifications for the consumer market.

The sound effects are great maybe because I was at the Dolby Atom cinema, for the past few years, my friends and I have been watching movies in private screening mode, at first we watched at Directors Club at the Elements and then switched to eMax; the experience is more enjoyable since you are watching with a bunch of friends and can comment on the movie and not disturb others.  Without giving away too much of the movie, I do urge the people who like military and action movies to go watch it.
