The pioneering spirit that revolutionized the culture of writing has been a driving force for Montblanc since 1906. Montblanc developed a writing instrument with non-leaking technology and a piston convertor that changed the course of writing history forever. In celebration of its 110th Anniversary, Montblanc returns to its beginnings as it reimagines the Maison’s first fountain-pen series launched in 1909 “Rouge et Noir“ and creates the new Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge & Noir writing instrument with a vintage look and feel. The design brings a contemporary twist to the early model with a slimmer and longer silhouette, as well as incorporating modern piston technology. This new writing instrument evokes the pioneering spirit of Montblanc and inspired the Maison to develop a creative social campaign that incorporates 4 uniquely Hong Kong stories – Pen‧Write Montblanc, Pen‧Write Rouge & Noir, Pen‧Write Pioneer and Pen‧Write Hong Kong.

Embarking on a Pioneering Journey of 110 years
Montblanc has teamed up with local pioneer of contemporary performing arts Dr. Chung King Fai, Cantopop lyricist Wyman Wong, premier writer Chip Tsao, independent “city-folk” singer-songwriter Chet Lam, former chief anchor Akina Fong and swimming champion Stephanie Au to share their views on a true pioneer’s spirit and determination.
